Student Life Opportunities

Clubs

BOOK CLUB: Students choose books from current popular fiction. We read the books and then discuss them once a month. Contact: ferranter@trentonschools.com
CHESS CLUB: Allows students to learn how to play chess right along side other students who have knowledge and understanding of the game. Contact: bialachj@trentonschools.com
DRAMA CLUB: This club is open to anyone who is interested in or participating in the theater community. Monthly meetings allow each member to participate in theater activities to develop performance skills. Contact: wagnerp@trentonschools.com
ESPORTS CLUB: The THS Esports team gives students an opportunity to compete with other high schoolers in some of their favorite video games such as Mario Kart 8, Splatoon 3, Super Smash Bros., Rocket League, Madden NFL, and NBA 2K. The team plays during the Spring season which runs from January to May. Contact: ferranter@trentonschools.com
FIGURE SKATING: The Figure Skating Club features students who spin, do foot work, jumps, landing on one foot gracefully.Contact: sandymoss18@sbcglobal.net
GERMAN CLUB: To enrich their knowledge of German culture by experiencing German foods, films, games, and holiday traditions. Contact: delongm@trentonschools.com
INTERACT-ROTARY: The Interact Club is a community service organization that helps local charities, statewide causes, national programs, or with international projects. Contact: clementsc@trentonschools.com
JAPANESE CULTURE CLUB: For knowledge and interest in all aspects of Japanese culture including anime, film, music, food and traditions. Contact: olsenk@trentonschools.com
MATH CLUB: This club is for students who love math. We compete each month in the Michigan Mathematics League. Contact: cheeka@trentonschools.com
MOCK TRIAL: Competitors prepare to argue a civil or criminal case as attorneys and witnesses against other schools throughout Michigan in the Michigan High School Mock Trial Tournament. Contact: taylord@trentonschools.com
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY: Initial invitation is based upon cumulative GPA from the first 6 trimesters of high school. Contact: taylord@trentonschools.com
