Trenton High School Bands

The Trenton High School Bands have a rich tradition of musical excellence. Beginning in the 5th grade, students at Hedke and Anderson Elementary Schools meet in classes of mixed instrumentation before school. Upon entering Arthurs Middle School for 6th grade, students are grouped in grade level band classes and also enjoy musical electives such as jazz band, singing class, string class and various musical elective offerings. 

The Trenton High School program includes the competitive Trenton Marching Band, Symphony Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Pit Orchestra. The high school performing ensembles consistently receive first division ratings in district and state Michigan School Band & Orchestra festivals. In 2023, the Trenton High School Marching Band was Michigan Competing Bands Association state finalist, earning 9th place at MCBA state championships.
